Residential Courses

Each year, several outstanding Pianoman scholars are offered places on residential courses throughout Britain in school holiday time. Courses are held at universities (recently York, Manchester, Canterbury Christ Church, Liverpool Hope, Nottingham) and other major centres including Dartington Hall in Devon, Charterhouse School, Prior Park School in Bath and Tonbridge School, Kent. The courses provide a unique opportunity for talented young pianists to play together with others of similar age who share the same interests and passion – an unforgettable experience according to past participants.

Our most recent course in August 2016 at Nottingham University was an opportunity for some of our most advanced scholars to rehearse and perform a selection of solo sonatas and trios with international concert artists Mandhira De Saram (violin) and Alisa Liubarskaya (cello).
