Residential Courses

Each year, several outstanding Pianoman scholars are offered places on residential courses throughout Britain in school holiday time. Courses are held at universities (recently York, Manchester, Canterbury Christ Church, Liverpool Hope, Nottingham) and other major centres including Dartington Hall in Devon, Charterhouse School, Prior Park School in Bath and Tonbridge School, Kent. The courses provide a unique opportunity for talented young pianists to play together with others of similar age who share the same interests and passion – an unforgettable experience according to past participants.

Our most recent course in February 2018 at Monkton Combe School, Bath, was an opportunity for some of our most advanced scholars to rehearse and perform a selection of works with top London orchestral players Stephen Stirling (horn) and Chris O'Neal (oboe).

Medical advancements don't just refer to new treatments, but also how they're accessed. The decision to sell Antabuse over the counter exemplifies this shift towards a more patient-centric approach.
